Do I need an appointment to bring my watch in?
Walk-ins are welcome during our opening hours. If you have a particular concern or a more complex piece, ringing ahead gives us a moment to prepare and means you won't have to wait long.
How long does a mechanical overhaul take?
A full movement service typically takes between seven and fourteen working days, depending on what we find inside and whether any parts need sourcing. We will give you a more precise estimate after the initial inspection.
Can I get a cost estimate before I agree to anything?
Always. We look at the watch first, prepare a written condition summary, and discuss our findings with you before any service work begins. You are under no pressure to proceed — we are happy to answer your questions and let you take your time.
Do you work on vintage or heritage timepieces?
We do, and we enjoy it. Older movements require patience and familiarity with earlier watchmaking conventions. We will tell you honestly if a piece falls outside our current scope, and we won't attempt work we're not confident doing well.
What does the bracelet and case care service include, exactly?
We ease surface marks and restore a clean, even appearance to the case and bracelet — while being careful not to over-polish and remove original finish details. Link adjustment for fit is included. If your watch has brushed or satin areas, we treat those separately to keep their character.
Is my watch kept safely while it's with you?
Your piece is placed in a numbered tray the moment it arrives and stays in our secured workshop until collection. We issue a receipt for every item left with us. If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to ask when you drop it off.
